Kent Companies Texas Wins a Gold Project Award from the ASA-North Texas Chapter
[DALLAS, TX] – Kent Companies Texas was awarded a Gold project award by the American Subcontractors Association – North Texas Chapter (ASA-North Texas). The award was granted on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the ASA-North Texas annual awards celebration. The Kent Companies Multi-Family Division was recognized for its work on Jefferson Stonebriar, a project entered in the $5-$10 million category. Kent Companies CEO Jeff VanderLaan, Kent Companies Texas President Keith Collinsworth and several members of the Kent Companies team attended the event.
Kent Companies performed the comprehensive concrete scope of work for JPI Construction on Jefferson Stonebriar in Frisco, Texas. Jefferson Stonebriar is comprised of a 424-unit mid-rise apartment complex and 6-level parking garage. Throughout the course of the project, Kent Companies installed 415 tons of rebar and placed over 15,300 cubic yards of concrete. Kent Companies’ “make it happen” moment came when the team accomplished back-to-back pours of 450 cubic yards of concrete followed by 340 cubic yards of concrete the very next day.
