American Subcontractors Association Honors Kent Companies with Ethics Award During SUBExcel 2017 in Denver
[GRAND RAPIDS, MI] – Kent Companies was one of 11 recipients of the American Subcontractors Association’s national Excellence in Ethics Awards. These awards are presented to construction subcontractors for achieving the highest standards of internal and external integrity for a subcontracting firm.
ASA, a national trade organization representing construction subcontractors, specialty trade contractors, and suppliers, presented this and other awards during an awards ceremony on March 18 at Red Rocks Amphitheater in conjunction with SUBExcel 2017 in Denver, Colorado. SUBExcel is ASA’s annual national convention and is the premier education and networking event for subcontractors, specialty trades, and suppliers.
In order to qualify for the ethics award, Kent Companies responded to questions concerning the organization’s corporate ethics, policies and procedures, its construction practices, and its general business practices. Kent Companies also submitted detailed documentation, including sealed letters of recommendation from a customer, a competitor, and a supplier. Kent Companies first achieved this award in 2016.
