The Kent Companies Gives Back campaign gives 800 Kent employees across the nation a voice in determining where the organization makes charitable contributions in the community.

The mission of Kent Companies is to create lasting value for our customers, our employees and the communities in which we build. Kent Companies CEO Jeff VanderLaan shared, “Kent Companies Gives Back brings our mission to life for our employees by giving them the ability to nominate and vote for the organizations that mean the most to them.”  Non-profit organizations of all sizes and fields of interest were included in the campaign.

Two national organizations were designated as top vote recipients across all Kent Companies operations: Wounded Warrior Project and the Make a Wish Foundation. VanderLaan continued, “This campaign is helping us learn what is most important to the Kent family. It’s clear that our team shares a lot of the same values centered on family, education and service to the community.”

Kent Companies Carolinas Regional Manager Roger Bilton added, “The Kent Companies team is a hard-working family. In fact, there are many second- and third-generation families among our team. The Make a Wish Foundation helps families across the country have extraordinary experiences with their children who are facing life-threatening conditions. We emphasize people and family first to our employees, so it’s easy to see why this organization is important to them.”Kent Companies Texas President Keith Collinsworth shared, “We are fully committed to building stronger communities across the country. That means we deliver the highest standards safety, productivity, quality and customer service on every job site. I’m pleased to see the entire Kent team rally around an organization like Wounded Warrior Project. We recognize the service that countless Veterans gave in order to protect our families. They deserve our full support as they return home to their own loved ones.”

Kent Companies will make charitable contributions throughout the year to the top organizations chosen by employees. An internal communications campaign will continually update employees on local contributions and their impact in the community.
