Kent Companies Texas – Commercial Division
Project: Lollicup – Rockwall, Texas
General Contractor: Clayco
Kent Team: Luis Mendez – General Superintendent; Norberto Guerrero – Superintendent; George Sellers – Sr. Project Manager
Clayco turned to the Kent team for the concrete scope of work for a new 700,000 square foot manufacturing facility for Lollicup in Rockwall, Texas. Lollicup USA Inc. is the manufacturer of Karat food service disposables, Tea Zone bubble tea supplies, and Total Clean cleaning solutions. The manufacturing plant will house new machines for manufacturing paper and plastic cups and food containers. Approximately 200 new employees will work at the facility once it opens.

The Commercial Division Donates Time and Talent at the Texas Pythian Home
The Texas Pythian Home in Weatherford, Texas is a place for children who need a safe place to live until their family can care for them full time. Often, these children are homeless; their parents are incarcerated or battle substance abuse; or they recently had a death in the family. The Texas Pythian Home provides a safe, stable environment for the children to grow physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually to become responsible, independent adults.
Texas Pythian Home serves children aged three through fourteen.The children are placed in dormitories with a dorm mother and dorm father, and they are given their own bed, closet and dresser. They perform chores and learn life skills.
The Commercial Division partnered with SK Custom Homes to provide concrete for a lake cabin in need of renovation. The team placed and finished concrete throughout the Needham Memorial Home, which provides housing for families working to get back together.
