Kent Companies Ranked as 13th Largest Concrete Construction Firm Nationwide
ENR Magazine released the Top 600 Specialty Contractors edition in late October. Our team ranked as the 13th largest concrete construction firm and the 139th largest specialty contractor nationwide. The rankings are based off of 2017 revenue figures by companies that self-report in the annual survey. Our innovative workforce development initiatives were also recognized in the feature.
The Southeast Team #MadeitHappen at the Promenade
The final panels are in place at the HomeGoods store at the Promenade at Carolina Reserve. The Southeast team completed 16 buildings for Berry Hutton General Contractors. The project includes retail stores like Burlington, Hobby Lobby, T.J.Maxx, Five Below and Ross. The development is the first of its kind in Indian Land, South Carolina.

Division 810’s Lamont Hardge and Crew Earn High Marks
Tom Geesey of Spence Brothers complimented Lamont Hardge and this team on their work on the SELC project in Standish, Michigan. Geesey wrote, “They knocked it out of the park. They performed above and beyond my expectations to complete the floor topping for this project in what I would consider to be record time. I am very impressed with the performance, professionalism and quality of workmanship from Lamont Hardge and the entire Kent crew on this project. Division 810 Celebrates the Grand Re-Opening of the Hamilton Building
Longtime Division 810 customer Sachse Construction and Broder Sachse Real Estate announced the grand reopening of the Hamilton Building in downtown Detroit. Formerly the Milner Arms, the 105-year-old Hamilton Building is now open to residents after a fresh renovation and a new ballroom.
Division 810 poured Gyp-Crete 2000 on the first through eighth floors to allow for the installation of new finished floor goods. Division Manager Dean Stacer shared, “Our team takes a lot of pride in our work. Before we began, the floors were called ‘barely walkable.’ Our shared commitment to the Four Hallmarks set the stage for a very successful building revitalization.” Click here to watch the full story.
