Federal Tax Withholding Changes: How will it affect your paycheck?

With the passing of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, several new tax laws will affect how federal taxes are withheld from your paycheck. All employees are encouraged to carefully review their current federal tax withholding. If you need to change your withholding, please see your Human Resources team for the appropriate forms.

The Grand Rapids Team Celebrates a 5th Year Win!

For the fifth consecutive year, Kent Companies earned an award as one of “West Michigan’s Best & Brightest Companies to Work For®.” Our team will be recognized at an awards ceremony on May 3, 2018 at the JW Marriott in downtown Grand Rapids.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey process. Your responses matter. Corporate HR Director Mindy Curtiss shared, “This award is significant because it stems from our people. You are the ones telling us what we’re doing right, and where we can continue to grow the resources for our team. Most importantly, when we look at this data, we see a reflection of our company values and how they serve as the foundation of our growth.”

Project: The View of Fort Worth- Fort Worth, Texas

Another stage. Another crowd. Same stellar performance under the bright lights. The Multi-Family team is making big things happen on The View of Fort Worth. Carlos Flores, Alberto Maldonado, Arturo Sierra and their teams are leading the charge. Check out photos from our early Saturday morning pour last weekend.

Because it’s Texas, we decided we should use the biggest concrete pump available in the state – a 70 meter pump.

The Division 110 team completed another deck pour with an early morning sunrise as a stunning backdrop. Did you know…? This is a design-assist effort, as Kent Companies helped convert the building from a steel frame design to post-tensioned concrete.
