Kent Companies Texas – Commercial Division

Project: QTS – Irving, Texas

Project Manager: Melissa Kersh

General Contractor: Turner Construction

Four years ago, QTS Data Centers expanded into the Dallas area with its purchase of a 700,000-square-foot building in Irving. Now the organization is expanding to add four 300,000-square-foot data center buildings adjacent to its existing facility. QTS and Turner Construction turned to the Commercial Division for an extensive site package.

General Superintendent Hugo Prado and Superintendent Randy Singleton are leading the Commercial Division team on the  project. To date, the team has poured the mud slab, slab on void, 1,600 linear feet of the beams and 18 columns. When finished, the campus will have about 2 million square feet, which is bigger than the largest downtown Dallas skyscraper — the 72-story Bank of America Plaza. Read the original Dallas News story here.
