Grand Rapids Team:

We’re competing in West Michigan’s Best & Brightest Competition…and we need your help!

Have you seen a survey request from West Michigan’s Best & Brightest Companies to Work For? Now is the time to respond! Check your email for a survey request from info@101bestandbrightest.com. We’re asking every Grand Rapids employee to complete a survey. Why?

  1. Your opinion matters. We want to hear your feedback on Kent Companies programs and resources for employees.
  2. We must achieve a minimum participation rate to qualify for an award.

Every response counts. We use your feedback to build new opportunities for our entire team. The deadline to complete the survey is Monday, February 19.

Can’t find your survey?

  • Link to complete the survey: https://www.cvent.com/d/stq0w0
  • Company Name to Use: Kent Companies Inc.  (exactly as listed)
  • The survey will ask for your name and email. These fields are required, but rest assured, survey responses are anonymous.

Employee Assistance Center (EAC) Now Available

Michigan & Ohio Team:

We are pleased to inform you of coverage of a new employee benefit program for you and your family. It is referred to as an employee assistance program (EAP), and services are provided to you and your family from the Employee Assistance Center (EAC). The program is available to your immediate family, such as your spouse, children and significant others that reside with you.

We understand that there is a lot more involved in your relationship with the company than just what takes place at work. Personal problems, such as the death of a loved one, emotional upheaval, alcoholism, marital pressure, family conflict or financial stress may affect our health and performance at work.

We want to make it easy, convenient and affordable for you or your immediate family to seek professional help when struggling with any of life’s challenges, whether they’re presented at home or at work.

Initial appointments at the EAC are available free of charge. Trained professional counselors will help you identify and, in many cases, help empower you to solve your problems or refer you to area providers who can help. Out-of-pocket costs, if any, from referrals are often covered by your health care insurance.

Your visit and your sessions with a counselor are completely confidential. All records are kept at the Employee Assistance Center, not at your employer.

To access the Employee Assistance Center:

  • Call 1-800-227-0905
  • Visit www.eacworklife.com. The user name is KCI.
  • This information is posted on the Kent Companies Employee Links web page.

If you have additional questions about the EAC, call 616-534-4909 or email Mindy Curtiss or Sarah Miller.

Phone Hack:

Program “Kent Companies” & 616-534-4909 in your cell phone to contact the corporate office.

The easiest way to call the corporate office is to create an entry in your cell phone for Kent Companies with the number 616-534-4909. Then you can use Siri or any other virtual assistant to make the call by voice command.

Use 616-534-4909 to reach Human Resources, office support staff, the shop or any division managers.

We ask that all employees to take advantage of this easy phone hack. This is particularly important as call volume increases leading into spring and summer months. Many of Kent’s online and mobile searches are optimized to connect directly to the Home Services call center. By taking this simple step, you’ll get connected to your call destination quicker, and you’ll help our call center team stay focused on helping the thousands of homeowners that call for residential service each year.
