Project Overview

Hobby Lobby operates over 600 stores across the nation. The building plans for the retail space are fairly standard. Each store features 50,000 square feet of slab on grade, a perimeter wall constructed of approximately 50 tilt-up concrete panels and a structural steel roof.

The schedule to complete concrete panel erection is six weeks. Kent Companies reviewed previous Hobby Lobby projects it performed in Mooresville, North Carolina and Charlotte, North Carolina to identify opportunities to shorten the delivery schedule. The team completed concrete panel erection in only four weeks, which added value for both Stellar Contracting and Hobby Lobby.
