Kent Companies Remembers the Life of Executive Vice President Lance Ross
With deep sadness, Kent Companies shares the loss of Executive Vice President Lance Ross, who passed away on November 1, 2022. Lance Ross was a friend, mentor, and incredible leader to many.
Lance joined the Kent Companies team in 2014 and was integral to the growth of Texas operations. He established the commercial division, growing it from Dallas-based operations to a nationwide leader in commercial concrete construction.
Kent Companies CEO Jeff VanderLaan shares, “Words can’t capture the legacy and impact of Lance Ross on our team and the industry. He created opportunities for countless people, and he always credited success to the hardworking members of his team. We mourn with the Ross family; his wife Mona and their three children, Emma, Nathan, and Lane, who lost a husband and father. We send them our prayers, support, and deepest condolences.”
A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, November 8th at 11 a.m. at Lakepointe Church in Rockwall, Texas. Colleagues from across the industry are invited to attend.
Kent Companies Texas will officially close operations on November 8th. We will resume normal operations on November 9th.
