Building Better, Together: The Power of Our 6-Week Superintendent Meetings

Every six weeks, our field leaders pause the daily grind to do something that makes every market stronger: regional superintendent meetings.

Austin has theirs, Charlotte has theirs, DFW has theirs, and so on and so forth. Each market gets in a room to talk through what they’re seeing on their jobsites and learns from the people who understand the projects best. We know challenges in Central Texas don’t always look like challenges in the Carolinas. And what works in Michigan might not work in Dallas.

These meetings are all about sharpening leadership, collaborative solutions, and keeping the focus on safety and productivity. And sometimes, like our Austin team showed this week, it’s about taking care of each other too—they cooked and fed the entire group before diving into discussions. That’s Kent culture in a nutshell.

As our National Safety Director Manny Rodriguez likes to remind the group, “Every region is different, but our responsibility is the same. We each look out for our crews and look out for each other.”

It’s one of the simplest, strongest best practices we have. Leadership is showing up every six weeks to make that happen. Go RED.
