Investing in Our Crew: Kent Concrete Team Advances Skills Through WMCI Training

We’re all about building what’s next and that includes our people. Four team members from our West Michigan concrete division completed programs at the West Michigan Construction Institute (WMCI).

Elijah Casarez and Rashoun Cheatum completed the Concrete I course, leveling up their skills in placement, reinforcement, forming, and finishing. Jhovany Garcia and Kodie Smith advanced through Concrete II, diving deeper into mix design, performance, and jobsite application.

When our team says they want to grow, we back them. We’re proud to invest in training that gives our people the tools to lead on the job site and build long-term careers. West Michigan’s construction market keeps accelerating—and meeting that demand means doubling down on our most valuable asset: our people.
