Making Moves: Sam’s Homecoming Marks the Next Chapter for Kent Concrete in Houston

Lerman Samuel TX 08 v3

Some career moves are just those, moves. But for Sam, this one’s a homecoming.

After several years in our Dallas office, Project Manager Sam Lerman is heading back to Houston, his hometown and now the home base for Kent Concrete’s newest office. It’s a full-circle moment for a leader who’s proven time and again that when you bet on people, the results speak for themselves.

Sam has managed some of the biggest and most visible projects for Kent’s DFW Multifamily group, including the One Rangers Way development in Arlington. He’s earned a reputation for consistency and the ability to bring calm to even the most complex jobs.

“Sam has been a cornerstone of our success in Dallas,” said Andy Thigpen, Division Manager. “He took on some of our most challenging and complex projects and knocked them out of the park. He’s the kind of guy who earns trust on day one and builds it every day after that. Houston’s lucky to have him.”

With the launch of our new Houston office, Sam is helping build something new. He’ll bring Kent’s standard of excellence to the city that raised him and set the tone for what’s next in one of Texas’s fastest-growing markets.

“Having Sam in Houston is a huge win for our team and our customers,” said Adrian Rendon, Houston Division Manager. “He understands this city, he understands our company, and he brings a level of experience that’s unmatched.”

At Kent, we give our people room to lead and back them every step of the way. Sam’s journey—from Houston to Dallas and now back again—is proof of what happens when growth is encouraged, and more importantly, expected.

Welcome home, Sam. Let’s get to work.
