Project Highlight: Sennebogen – Stanley, NC

Advanced manufacturing facilities demand concrete construction that supports tight tolerances and complex building systems. For the Sennebogen facility in Stanley, NC, 47,647 SF of slab on grade, 2,968 SF of slab on metal deck, 30,062 SF of site concrete, and 31,654 SF of tilt-up panels while maintaining production through challenging winter conditions.

“Winter weather required us to be intentional about planning every pour,” shares Project Manager Alejandra Ardila. “Cold-weather concrete placement and daily coordination all had to work together. By staying ahead of changing conditions, we maintained quality and kept the project moving.”

The facility combines large industrial floor areas with architectural concrete features, including round concrete columns and exterior concrete stairs. Successfully delivering both required careful sequencing and close coordination between field operations and project management to meet performance and aesthetic expectations.

"This project reflects the versatility of our crews," Ardila adds. "From high-production slab placement to specialty architectural elements, every scope required a different approach. That's where experience and planning make the difference."
