Division 110 Announces Field Leadership Promotions

[GRAND RAPIDS, MI] – “The biggest opportunity for Division 110 is clear,” shared Executive Vice President Matt Fennema. “It’s empowering the people on our team to take this organization to the next level.”

Fennema and Director of Operations Steve McCoy recently announced comprehensive promotions across Kent Companies’ largest operating division in the Midwest. Fennema continued, “The past few years are marked by two things: incredible growth and the hard-fought victories of our field team. The Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo skylines have several new multi-story buildings. Our field leaders and their crews brought those structures to life, and it’s clear they’re ready to take on more.”

McCoy added, “Every high-performing team has a responsibility to review its own performance carefully. We know where we’re strong and where we have the opportunity to grow.”  McCoy continued, “We’re advancing our team members and clarifying their responsibilities. Doing so creates an incredible opportunity to cultivate talent throughout all ranks on the team.”

Chief Operating Officer Dave Schoonbeck emphasized the importance of collaboration between the field and business operations. “We value all perspectives, so in some cases, we moved members of the field into business roles to help improve our overall operations. No one operates in a vacuum. We need input and on-going communication from everyone to deliver projects safely and profitably. Every member of the team has a stake in the outcome.”
