Congratulations to the Graduates of our Spanish-to-English Program
Fourteen team members recently completed an intensive Spanish-to-English course offered by the West Michigan Literacy Center. The participants made an extraordinary effort to attend class at 5am twice per week. Corporate HR Director Mindy Curtiss shared, “The commitment these guys displayed is amazing. They brought their very best to every early class and headed to their job sites afterwards. This is a make it happen moment for all of them.” Class participants made final presentations to complete the course. The presentations included the Kent Companies mission, Four Hallmarks and practical job site language. Congratulations to our graduates!

Division 1610 is definitely Making it Happen for Dan Vos Construction on the new South Christian High School. John DeBlaay, Vice President/Project Executive at Dan Vos Construction complimented our team. He and the entire Dan Vos team are amazed at how well Division 1610 works together and how much they accomplish each day. I appreciate this team putting the Four Hallmarks to work for all of our customers.

The Garage Bar Summer Block Party Series is back every Wednesday night throughout the summer. Live music starts at 6pm each week. Kent Companies is a sponsor of this event series, and there are discounts available for all Kent employees.

Divisions 1810, 3110 and 210 – Kool Collision
General Contractor: Triangle Associates

It takes teamwork and collaboration to make each project successful. Three divisions collaborated on Kool Collision for Triangle Associates. Division 1810 constructed two sets of paint booth pits. Foreman Dave Huitema helped lead the project. Dan Gonzalez lead excavation and backfill; and Isaac and Ronnie led rebar and formwork. Division 3110 completed waterproofing for the project, and Division 210 provided pumping into the building because of the limited access. Kudos to the entire team for your hard work.
